Our Buildings

At Customkit we offer a wide range of wooden buildings in both single level and two storey, from barns to houses and many others.

All materials used in our buildings are manufactured and supplied by New Zealand companies. The buildings are generally supplied as shell only kitsets enabling you to apply your own personal touch however in todays busy world we have seen an increasing demand for a completed package. Over the years we have developed a network of builders who are happy to work with our product to create your dream.

Many of our two storey homes were originally derived from our barn range as a result of people wanting to live in a "Traditional Wooden Barn". Claddings used are predominantly plywood and batten. However in the industry today there are many other cladding options available, which you may wish to consider.

These buildings are particularly suited to our New Zealand conditions and are becoming increasingly popular as rural homes, lifestyle home barn combinations, holiday homes, additional accommodation and sleep outs. Our contemporary designs combine modern living with the warmth and ambience of natural wood.
